Mert and Marcus, met for the first time in England in 1994 after having worked for a brief period in different areas, the first in classical music and the second in graphic design. Marcus was an assistant photographer and Mert was a fashion photo modeler. After working together in the photography business, they decided to create a team. When they showed their first photos to "Dazed and Confused", the London fashion magazine, they immediately made the cover.

Nick Knight was first known for photographs in his book called "Skinheads" released in 1982. Since then, he shot campaigns with Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, Levi Strauss, Lancôme and Alexander McQueen, among several others. He launched the fashion media Web site SHOWStudio.com in 2000 and enlisted himself among the most influential photographers at the moment.

Inez and Vinoodh

Ineez Van Lamsweerde and Vinodh Matadin

Inez van Lamsweerde created her brand along with Vinoodh Matadin in 1986. They had notable campaigns with Vogue, W, Vanity Fair, Vogue Italia, Paris Vogue, L'Uomo Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Interview, among many others. They have been a pioneer of digital photography and established a distinct style of their own.

Steven Meisel

Meisel started his career with W and Vogue. His claim to fame was his renowned photographs of Madonna in her 1992 book titled "Sex." There were numerous fashion personalities who got discovered by Meisel. Some of the well-known names are Naomi Campbell, Coco Rocha, Lara Stone, Kristy Turlington, Raquel Zimmerman and Linda Evangelista. He photographs all Vogue Italia covers while he maintains a close relation with Franca Sozzani, the editor-in-chief of the magazine.
